Her best Man is the first novel of Left at the Altar Series written by Jana Richards.
I got hooked just by reading these blurbs and wanted to read all three of them. I enjoyed each one for what they were. The humor make you laugh and the sad moments really breaks your heart.
Her best Man, reminded me so much of WHILE YOU WERE SLEEPING, its about Sarah who is waiting for the I do but never in a million years did she think the love of her life and the man she wants to start her life with will run out and leave her at the altar.
Deciding to take a break for all the people in her life and from this fiasco she was left in she went on her honeymoon alone.
On the other side we have Will, the running groom’s brother. Who took his brother’s ticket and hope he would be able to write another novel. He never bargained on meeting brother’s ex fiance to be there too. They formed a friendship that lead to more, but can Will step up and claim Sarah for his own. To make this even harder, bro wants Sarah back, but he has no idea if Sarah will take him back.
I love love love this story, all of them. I think she has done a wonderful job with writing all three and you are left with wanting more. Even though they all begin with someone being left at the Altar.
I gave all three novels of the Left at the Altar Series a five. I really enjoyed them and I recommend them to all my girl friends.

Eight years ago Tony left Olivia at the altar. He was sure she didn’t really want to marry him. Now he’s back, and they’re forced to work together.

Coming home isn’t easy for Tony, because his father wanted him to work at a trade instead of going off to college. Their relationship is still unsteady. Even before Tony’s return, Olivia began questioning the depth of her love for her fiancé, a man she chose because he was safe and reliable. Yet the last thing she wants is a loveless, faithless marriage like the one her parents suffered through.

When Tony, who never stopped loving her, insists her fiancé is the wrong man for her, Olivia sets out to prove him wrong. But the sexual chemistry between them is still strong, and so are her feelings for him. Even so, how can she break her engagement, hurt her fiancé as she was once hurt? And how can she trust Tony not to abandon her as he did before?

If anyone does the jilting this time, she will.

The Second novel in Jana Richards Left at the Altar Series.
Eight years ago Tony left Olivia at the altar. He  was positive that she wasn’t ready to marry him and the way he left her was sweet.
Not seeing Tony for eight years, she moved on and met someone else. The question was asked, she said yes and another date to get married gets set, but never did Olivia think she would work with Tony before her big day comes.
Working with Tony stirred up old feelings inside Olivia. She couldn’t stop thinking about him. What will the bride do this time.

A really amazing tale of second chances. Jana is really such a gifted writer, you fall in love with all her characters and feel for them when they are going through the ups and downs. Another well written novel and a must read.

Daniella Dipietro, or in short Dani has always been a Bride’s maid, The last wedding she went to turned into a drama. Now she has to cheer up, Zach Morrison, a beautiiful hotthrob, who’s fiance betrayed him.

A year later he needs her help again, but this time she needs to pretend she’s he’s girlfriend in order for ex-fiance to leave him alone. But it’s not always easy to pretend, and pretend feelings turned into real feelings. Will this ugly duckling finally became the swan and finally the bride.

I loved this story, in fact all of them. Jana really did a wonderful job with Dani and Zach, They were well developed and her scenes was sometimes down right funny. I felt for Zach in the beginning, thinking how could anyone do that to another person and I love Dani’s character.  I’ve got to admit, this cover doesn’t really sell the book, but I promise it was a really entertainment read.

About the Author :

When Jana Richards read her first romance novel, she immediately knew two things: she had to commit the stories running through her head to paper, and they had to end with a happily ever after. She also knew she’d found what she was meant to do. Since then she’s never met a romance genre she didn’t like. She writes contemporary romance, romantic suspense, and historical romance set in World War Two, in lengths ranging from short story to full length novel. Just for fun, she throws in generous helpings of humor, and the occasional dash of the paranormal. Her paranormal romantic suspense “Seeing Things” was a 2008 EPPIE finalist.

In her life away from writing, Jana is an accountant/admin assistant, a mother to two grown daughters, and a wife to her husband Warren. She enjoys golf, yoga, movies, concerts, travel and reading, not necessarily in that order. She and her husband live in Winnipeg with their Pug/Terrier cross Lou and several unnamed goldfish. She loves to hear from readers and can be reached through her website at
