Short Excerpt:
Sheila gave him an amused look and shrugged as Cassandra tugged her toward the house. Rick watched them make their way back up the stone path, enjoying the sexy sway of her heart-shaped ass under her curve-hugging skirt. The sound of their feminine laughter floated back to him. He was glad to see Sheila relaxed and happy.
When Cassandra opened the door and ushered her inside Sheila glanced back over her shoulder and met his gaze. The dazzling smile she gave him before the door closed behind her sent his blood thrumming.
The sound of chuckling caught his attention and he turned back to find all three men watching him with matching smirks.
“What?” Rick asked defensively. But he knew what. He had it bad for Sheila. They’d caught him staring after her like some adolescent schoolboy.
Nate chuckled, and J.D. snorted.
Jake arched a brow. “So, what’s up with you and Sheila?”
“Nothing’s up,” Rick said, feeling frustration churning in his gut. He rubbed the back of this neck and shot a glance toward the house. “At least not yet . . . but not for lack of trying on my part.”
Kind wishes,
