Welcome

Hi my name is Adrienne Woods. I would like to introduce myself and what I’ve planned with my blog.
This blog is purely to help out new authors. To get their books out there and to help them get more publisity.
I’m an author myself and my epic fantasy for YA known as the Dragonian series. The first book in this series are called Firebolt and it play off in a magical realm hidden on earth. I will post more about the Dragonian Series closer to the release date and will launch a giveaway on my blog.

As of new authors who would like to get their books reviewed, please feel free to leave me a comment and I will try my best to get it out there for you.

Please help me by following my blog and buy the books that will be up on here soon.
Support an author and lets keep books alive.

  1. Hi there! Saw your post on Twitter and joined your blog. I have a suspense/thriller on Kindle called “I of the Storm,” and I’m looking for reviews. I’d love to send it to you if you’re willing. Let me know your guidelines. Thanks! — My blog is at http://www.novellarella.blogspot.com =)

  2. Looks like a nice site here. Thanks for taking the time to create this place and I can’t wait to see what you’re going to be doing with it. Good luck with the new endeavor! šŸ™‚

  3. Good luck with your blog. I hope you get lots of followers and readers for your forthcoming books. My book is a children’s historical novel, but adults are leaving good reviews too. Of course on amazon if you don’t get reviews the book just sits there or drops down the list so all reviews help a lot. It’s called, #KitsRewardbyBrendaWoodford. Thank you

  4. Your blog looks great and I really like the sound of your upcoming book. My fantasy adventure ‘Bentwhistle The Dragon In A Threat From The Past’ can currently be downloaded in most formats from https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/286035 free for a limited period. I’ll keep a close eye on your blog. Perhaps you’d like to take a look at mine at some point http://www.thesoberhockeyplayer.co.uk/ I like to post author interviews on my blog and would be very happy for you to feature. Details of the questions can be found under the Authors and Writing section of my blog. Check out some of the previous author interviews under the Writing section to get some ideas and see if you’d like to feature.
Good luck in all your writing endeavours.

    • Hi Paul,
I’ve downloaded your book from smashwords and I will read it asap. You will be the first to go on my blog.
Thank you for this opportunity and speak to you soon.

      Adrienne.

  5. Hi Erika,

I just followed your link on Twitter and here I am. I would like to suggest a book for reading/reviewing = my suspense novel VALLEY OF THRACIANS. Set in modern day Bulgaria, this book is a page turner and also your introduction into the culture, history and people of Bulgaria. Bet you never heard a pitch like that before.

    Thanks for your consideration,
    Ellis Shuman

    • Hi Ellis, thank you so much. I will love to look at your work. I think I’d sent you a email from my erichbester account. You can email me you work to woods.adrienne@yahoo.com. The more people know this the better.

      Thanks for using my services.

  6. Hello,

I’m not sure if you’re into sci fi but I have a short story series. I publish four free story arcs on the website http://resurgenceseries.com/ during the week (a little over 1k words) with the shorts published now on the 15th and 30th of the month. I’ve got 8 shorts published so far.

    Thanks,

    Sacha

    • Hi Sacha,

I’m looking at your website as we speak. Any stories are welcome.
Like I said this is exposure just for authors.
So I will try my utmost best not to be picky.
Will let you know when your review is up.
      Speak to you soon.

      Adrienne

    • Hi Michael, I would love to review A Shadow in the flames too but at this moment I can only read epub and pdf. I’m still working on finding a way to read kindle and mobi. I will let you know the minute I’ve found a way to help you guys out as well.
      Sorry for the inconvenience.
      Regards,
      Adrienne

      • Hi Adrienne,

I can arrange for a PDF if you like. (Though Amazon also offers a free Kindle reader app that you can use to read Kindle/mobi files on your computer or tablet/phone.)

    • Hi Cailyn. I would love to review your story, the only problem is at this moment I can only read pdf or epub files. I’m still sorting out kindle and mobi, so I won’t be able to download anything from amazon as yet.
So sorry for the inconvenience, I will let you know as soon as the problem is solved.

      Adrienne

      • I’m happy to send you a .pdf, if you’re interested.

        Thank you,

  13. Good afternoon Adrienne,

I came across your contact information while searching for book review services. I am in the finishing stages of completing my novel however I am struggling right now and having a bit of self-doubt! lol

I have never written or published before however I love to write. Honestly I am not sure if my work is any good or not and whether I should persue publishing. This may be more suited as a past time for me.

My novel is YA / Adult fiction however it is based on true life events from my life.

I have attached the first chapter below for you to read and to hopefully provide some much needed critique and advice.

I look forward to hearing from you!

    Sincerely,
    Jackie

  14. Hi! I found your contact information via Book Tweeting Service and if you’re interested I’d love to sent you a free copy of my ebook for review!

Gwyn’s Tale is a young adult adventure/fantasy. It runs about 75 pages long and tells the story of Gwyn’s adventures as she runs away from home, takes a detour through the Forbidden Forest, meets outlandish friends and ends up in the middle of a ridiculous war all the while searching for a place to call “home”. You can read a preview on Amazon here: http://amzn.to/18KTaQ9

Thanks for taking a look and let me know if interested!

  15. Hi Adrienne,

I have a book published that sells on Amazon titled “Originality’s lost in Hollywood.” May I request you to review my book? Please email me to let me know this. Thanks

    Sri Viswa

    • Hello Adrienne,

I’ve not heard from you since July when you kindly agreed to review my book The AL-EX Project (ALternative EXistence) Testing the limits of dream control. However today I received 10 review requests, apparently all addressed to you but for some reason they have ended up being sent to me. I looked through each one and they are definitely requests from various authors for reviews, so something has gone awry. I wonder how that happened.

And since I’m on the subject, I’d really appreciate an indication as to whether you’ve read my book by now, enjoyed and are now in a position to review it. I think you indicated that you had a couple of books in front of mine.

Get back to me when you’re able.

      Kind regards.

      Carole (aka author CM Donaldson).

      • Sorry about that. I have no idea how that happened.

So to speak, I did finished a lot of books during this month that haven’t gone up yet. I post them as I get time. Yours are in that pile so keep an eye out, any day soon, hopefully before the end of next week.

I’m so sorry about the delay, at least I’ve written all my notes down on my computer as I finished with each book, otherwise I would’ve been lost.

Sorry about the posts. I seriously have no idea how that had happened.

        Adrienne.

  16. Dear Adrienne,
Hi. My name is Brian D Holland. I was recently in the site of Book Tweeting Service and discovered you and your contact info. You’re appear to be a very interesting person and I’m now following you on twitter. My new novel, “The Three Doors,” is a horror/thriller, but it’s also delves in fantasy, paranormal, romance and the supernatural. I’m wondering if you’d be interested in receiving a copy in either paperback or Kindle format, in exchange for an Amazon review and for your blogs and site. I added some linked information below about me, the novel as well. Thanks, and reply at your convenience.

  17. Hi Adrienne, I found your name on Book Tweeting Service. I’ve got a YA series about a kid who shapes people’s dreams. The first book, Ashlynn’s Dreams, is available from amazon. There’s a FB page for the book, too. I’m sure you can find me via that or let me know how to reach out to you. If you’d be interested in reviewing it, I would be happy to send you a pdf. Thanks for your time.

  18. Hi Adrienne!

I was wondering if you would give my first two novels a shot. They are Young Adult SciFi with elements of Fantasy and Romance.

The first one has a few reviews on Amazon but the second only has one! I am seeking any support I can get as a struggling, self published author!

I can send you PDF copies of both books, simply let me know if you are willing to help me out!

If you would like to know more, you can find links to all of my books as well as information about me on my website, http://AliciaJLove.com

    Thanks,
    Alicia J. Love

    • Hi Alicia, I’m not a lover of Sci-fi, But I’m a sucker when it comes to help author’s especially when they are asking so nicely.
I’m busy with my pile as we speak. I call it my reading marathon, where I read about five to seven books at once. I make my notes with each book which I then use for writing my reviews. Your’s
won’t be in this pile, but I have them about twice a month. I read exceptionally fast if the book isn’t a slow paced novel. If slow paced and not my genre, it takes a bit longer. I will then read about twenty or so
pages, but the review might not be positive as you hope. I do try to keep my reviews positive and what I don’t like, will help you as an author. If you want this, then you can send me a pdf at woods.adrienne@yahoo.com

      Thanks for using my services.
      Adrienne Woods

    • Sorry, I wanted to say reading about twenty pages a day. I will finish a book, once I started. It’s very rare that I don’t finish a novel. It’s got to be extremely awful for me not to finish it.

  19. What a great service you are doing for aspiring authors, Adrienne! I’ve just had my debut novel self-published, a historical romance called The Fisherman’s Wife: The Gospel According to St. Peter’s Spouse. It’s about a woman whose husband leaves her for long stretches of time to follow a controversial preacher. At first she views Jesus as a rival for her affection, but then after seeing his miracles and hearing him speak, she becomes a disciple too. A fan created a Facebook page for my book at http://www.facebook.com/St.Peter‘sSpouse. If you are interested in reviewing this kind of book, I’d love to send you a pdf copy. Kathleen Glavich

  20. OMG! Where to start with this, I totaly love your book. It make me want to read more and more. I think is a very fantastic book. I started it today and finish it the same day. It’s just, WOW! I hope I could read the next book.
